Short vs. Long Term Brand Strategy
In the short term, the most important part of developing a brand strategy is keeping it consistent. The fonts on your website should match the fonts in your email signature, your color palette should be cohesive across your marketing materials, etc. Apply this idea to all your social media platforms & marketing efforts.
In the long term, focus on directing all your brand strategy back to the story of you. You are your brand! A lot of people want to separate their social media accounts or online profiles once they create a voice over business. Don’t do that! You are you, no matter what job you have. Plus, your previous experience will enhance your voice over career + help you specialize within genres. Everything you did before is still part of your story & makes you interesting.
Some questions to ask yourself:

Where did you come from?
What is informing your voice over career?
Why are you a voice actor?
What were you before you were a voice actor?
Does your branding tell the story of you?

I keep things separate...
